6th Annual Uncle Uncannys Summer Sessions 0

Jun15

For the past 6 years the group known as Uncle Uncannys has been putting on the grass roots festival “Summer Sessions”. The festival is well known throughout the music scene in Utah, as being truly home grown. Founders TJ Arnovic and Rick Gerber started Summer Sessions to bring Utah’s music scene, friends and family together and enjoy music and the outdoors. Depending on the support of the Uncanny family, most of the festival is run by passionate volunteers and musicians. The festival has had success every year, and now taking the next step in its growth.

This year we are pleased to announce the 2009 Summer Session will take place in a new location. Uncle Uncannys is proud to partner up with the Rivers edge at Deer Park in Beautiful Wasatch county Utah to throw an amazing festival. The new convenient location offers plenty of camping, deluxe affordable cabin rentals, and a great concert area. The Uncanny family has been hard at work planning and booking over 30 of Utah’s own talent and is booking major acts now.

Uncle Uncannys is and will always be about the music, friendships and fun. We will continue to have the best concert production staff and event planners around to ensure a professional, exciting, and safe time. In addition to great music, this year’s plans include artist workshops, food vending, local artisans, a late night bar with special guests, raffles, and kids activities. We look forward to growing this year once again, and to our bright future.
